Our Story

Our name, Ginkgo Garden, is inspired from the tree that has been alive for millions of years, keeping us connected to the memory of this living earth. In the Ginkgo, we strive to create memories that will be held, keeping the memory of joy through food. We want to impart the vibrant earth into our cuisine.

When not cooking we are tending our own vegetable gardens, letting those gardens and local farms be the inspiration behind our cuisine. Even in the dark of winter food preservation allows us to enjoy the taste of summer tomatoes on our plate. A warm winter pumpkin curry feeds the soul with sunshine. Our dream is to keep our cuisine alive with flavor and all of the elements of nature that give life to our food. 

We will do our best to accommodate any budget while also maintaining our commitment to support the community with our work. Whenever possible we outsource from local farmers, bakeries and meat and fish markets. Being a local business ourselves, supporting and growing the community is important to us; while this may affect food costs on occasion, it always results in deliciously memorable food.

Our goal in creating this business was to ensure that we would always have the abilty to make each and every job, event and experience, personal and meaningful. We can create custom menus catered to your tastes and personalize your experience. Or, trust our great taste and choose from our sample menus! Pricing will vary based upon seasonal availability, group size and service needs. We are available to serve intimate events as private chefs in your home, larger special events in home or on location, corporate events.  We can assist in any event coordination for an extra event planning charge, including the acquisition of flowers, tables, chairs and other needed service ware and decor. We are also available for meal delivery to your home or office. 

We will work with you through an initial consultation and  generate a proposal for your event. We are always available to answer any questions or address any concerns. We can accommodate any dietary restrictions and food allergies or special menus. Most of our meals can be prepared gluten free and we always provide vegetarian and/or vegan options.
